Most of my blogs lately have been focused on finding inner confidence, along with the trials of being a woman, spouse, parent, etc.
Today, I want to bring it back to the business.
Brittany and I are closing in on almost a year of Simply Confident Clothing. I noticed this as the renewals for website domain, LLC and taxes hit our company’s email inbox.
As daunting as the business/financial side of things might be for our fresh-into-small-business roles, we are learning and growing each day. We also have some friends/family who I know will give advice and help us through the process.
This tax season will be a whole new experience for us. Wish us luck!
Why subscribe?
Thanks to our amazing customers, friends and family, we have grown exponentially on our social media platforms.
Our Facebook group is close to 600 followers. The Facebook page is getting hundreds of likes, and our Instagram is slowly reaching 220 followers.
The one area we are lacking is our email subscribers.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I know how annoying it can be as your email inbox just fills with useless emails. I have unsubscribed to many random emails that were too much.
Fortunately, we take that into perspective.
We are not here to bombard your inbox. We send new launches, deals and this bi-weekly column. That adds up to only 3-4 emails a month. Not too shabby.
If you want to be the first to know when new clothes arrive or items go on sale, subscribe to the email or follow our Facebook page. You will be the first to get the message.
I know how it can be with email but trust me, if social media goes down the drain, you can trust to still hear from us electronically there.
Get in person again
Simply Confident Clothing Co. is an online boutique. However, we know that the way to stay alive and thriving is to grow our business.
Brittany and I were both looking for ways to get in person to sell our clothing. For Small Business Saturday, we are going to take the leap!
On Saturday, Nov. 26, from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Simply Confident will be one of several vendors located at InTune Massage Studio in Wausau.

You can come shop and try on clothes in person at this event. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there.
This will be our first step into the real world of retail. We are excited for the opportunity to give our customers that in-person experience and find some new customers, too.
