When selecting new items for a launch, Brittany and I often pre-select different items that we like before we make a purchase.
Hours are spent browsing clothes until we put a few into our bag. That feeling every time we order more clothes is exciting. We try to select items from various vendors to give you a variety, while also staying within reason for our prices.
Each time a shipment comes in, Brittany and I FaceTime to show off the new goods. For those who don't know, Brittany and I live 50 miles from each other. Read Simply Miscommunication for more on that.
Crown jewel
In a recent purchase, we decided to order some jewelry. This was a new vendor, taking us out of our comfort zone. We are shopping online similar to what you are doing at our store. Our mission to make it easy for you to find great, affordable styles. We will do the searching.
However, because we are in the early stages of finding out style, brand and preferred vendors, we still have learning to do. But, I am already starting to notice that although our styles differ, Brittany and I each know what clothes we want to sell.
As we were searching, Brittany found these gold star earrings. We both thought Fourth of July would be a perfect time for these earrings. We could launch them in April/May, and based on sales order more for Independence Day.
The only problem is we failed to read the description that stated they were 2". We could have slide over one photo to see that these were, in fact, JLo style earrings. Now, forgive me, Jenny from the Block, but these earrings were not on brand for Simply Confident.
I know we have some customers who could more than rock these earrings. However, we made the executive decision to pass on these at this point. Luckily, we selected an excellent vendor who not only gave us the other jewelry we will be launching March 27 and beyond, but also gave us store credit for these gold star earrings.
Returns and Refunds
Just like we returned these earrings, you may have items that you purchase from us that just aren't right for you. You may have misread the description or simply thought the item would be different.
We get it. It happens. We want to make it right.
Simply Confident Clothing has a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return. We may ask a few questions to find out more about the return to learn from this experience. Most importantly, we want to give you a great experience even if the purchase didn't work out as planned.
We hope you want to exchange for something different. Our only way to offer exchanges at this time is to refund your total, and you can purchase a new item online. We would be happy to set aside your new item if needed.
