Scratch that itch & do what makes you happy

Scratch that itch & do what makes you happy

Do you ever get that itch to shop? Maybe you are sick of wearing the same thing. Or, maybe you just need a cute outfit to lift your mood.

If you are anything like me, you get an urge to shop. Sometimes, it feels like there is no rhyme or reason for it.

My last purchase was buying Brooklyn an enclosed step stool for some more independence in the kitchen, and I also bought myself a sweatshirt from Simply Confident Clothing. Let me tell you, buying clothes online is a different type of feeling.

You order the new shirt online. You imagine yourself wearing the new top. You impatiently check the tracking daily just to see when it will arrive at your door. Then, there it is! You open the packaging, try it on and it fits just right. Better than you imagined. It is like that little burst of energy you needed.

I know for a fact that I am not the only one who thinks like this - my mom, my cousin, my friends - we all enjoy buying something new.

Feeling good is better than looking good

Although buying something new can help cure your boredom, or give you something new to tell your friends and family. It's important that you also feel good overall.

Instant gratification is nice in those moments when you open a new package, but remember that feeling good does not have to be temporary.

I don't want to steer you away from our sales or buying our clothes because we do put effort into selecting styles to help you feel good.

However, I want to be honest with you and remind you that this is not just about selling stuff - this is about building your confidence.

Find your happy

So, buy that new top (or two) from Simply Confident Clothing but also do something that makes you happy. Keep that feeling going and continue to take that time for yourself.

It can be meaningful to have a simple dinner and some good conversation with your friends or family. Building meaningful relationships with those around you can help boost your mood and your life.

If you are more introverted, you may need some time alone with a good book, a walk outside or watch your favorite movie.

I hope you continue to add our beautiful collections to your cart, but also add some special moments for you, too.

Stay simply confident,

Kayla
