Starting a small business is worth it

Why I Don’t Regret Simply Confident

When Brittany and I started Simply Confident, it wasn’t just about clothes. It was about doing something bold and out of the ordinary, and doing it together.

We launched this business while navigating babies, pregnancies, postpartum changes, and the ever-shifting journey of loving our own bodies. We modeled most of our clothes not because it was easy, but because it was a chance to step into our own confidence and share that with others.

Through this journey, we faced more than the typical challenges of running a small business. We walked through soul-crushing health news of loved ones and a heartbreaking loss, yet we continue to rise for our children and for ourselves.

People questioned if we could make it in business, but we stayed true to our name —Simply Confident.

Closing this chapter is not a failure. It’s a conscious, unified decision. Brittany and I have never done anything halfway, and we’re not about to start now. We want to give our whole selves to whatever we do. Right now, life’s circumstances don’t allow that for our business.

We had fun. We loved the clothes. We brought our style and personality to life through this business. No regrets. Only lessons learned, memories made and confidence gained.

Simply Confident will always be a part of us because it was never just about the business.

It was about believing in ourselves, together.

Stay simply confident,

Kayla
